Lost and American Idol rocked!

I am so glad Taylor Hicks won! Katherine McPhee is beautiful, extremely talented and her career as a performer/singer/artist is a shoo in. But I wanted Taylor to win. And it seemed to be the consensus at my house and the office I worked at yesterday.

My favorite part was when the Clay Aiken wannabe almost had a meltdown when Clay walked on stage and surprised him. Very funny stuff! I could almost hear the wheels turning in Clay’s mind: “Was I ever REALLY like that?’

Naw. He had a little more class than that!

And when the hyper idiot ran out on stage to get his trophy and fell into the audience!!! :rotfl:

It was hard running back and forth between the two rooms watching both. We taped it on our DVR in the big den and on a VCR in the smaller den off the kitchen. But Lost won out over me actually sitting and watching.

Oh. My. Gosh!

Not going to spoil the ending for those who taped it and couldn’t watch it last night ( Sandy S!) but I am now hooked for next season. PLEASE let there be another season!

Gotta run. Doing check offs today at work and really like doing those. Keep your fingers crossed for me for something that will happen tomorrow. Can’t say anything else at this moment. Don’t want to jinx it.

Have a good day before Memorial Day weekend starts!

~Sandy

Lost rocked!!! And there definitely will be another season. It got renewed ages ago. 🙂

Sandy Says:

So glad to know that Tori! Thanks!

I think that Kat will have a career – she just needs some seasoning, maybe a few lessons on how not to oversing and she needs to connect with a song – not smile through ballads. I did like her rendition of Over the Rainbow though.

Lost was amazing and so was American Idol. Decided to watch American Idol over Lost and glad I did. It just wouldn’t be the same watching Idol unless it was live. Lost was fantastic a coupld of answers but so many more new questions.:hissyfit:

Okay (*deep breath*), I have a confession to make, Sandy. I have never seen one single episode of Lost or American Idol. :-0

I know, I know. What can I say? LOL I must be in the one-percent of the population who hasn’t seen either of these.

When I watch TV it’s mostly DVR recordings of Paula Deen’s Home Cooking (drool), Desperate Housewives, Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, and reruns of my all time favorite comedy show, Whose Line is it Anyway? (the improve comedy show hosted by Drew Cary). One of these days I’m going to have to tune in to Idol and Lost just to see what everyone’s talking about.

Hope you have a fabulous long holiday weekend, Sandy–and whatever it was that’s supposed to happen to you today, I hope it went your way and all is well! 😀

Sandy Says:

Daisy: Whaaat?? Not ONE episode??? Just kidding. I have never seen 24 or NYPD Blue or Seinfeld or Sex in the City!

And it did go well, which I can’t say at this time, but soon….

Jacob Jacobi Says:
